Introduction

As a honeygrow team member with an assigned honeygrow email address, you will use our JumpCloud Go Single Sign-On (SSO) to securely access most company applications. This guide will walk you through the essential first-time sign-in process, including setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Why is this important?

Enhanced Security: MFA adds an extra layer of security to protect your accounts.
Required Access: Completing the MFA setup is mandatory. Without it, you will be locked out of critical systems such as Solink, OLO, Certify, SmartSense, Managers Portal, Gmail, Help Center, and other systems will be added as SSO is available for other platforms.

For the initial setup, we highly recommend completing this process on a desktop computer with your mobile device handy, as you will need to scan a QR code and enter a six-digit verification code from an authenticator application.

Before You Begin: Set Up Your Authenticator App

JumpCloud SSO requires the use of an authenticator application on your mobile device. We suggest using the Google Authenticator App.

Download Google Authenticator:
- For iOS (Apple devices): Download from the App Store here.
- For Android devices: Download from the Google Play Store here.
Initial App Setup:
- After downloading, open the Google Authenticator app.
- Click through any initial "Get Started" prompts.
- Prepare to add a new account by looking for a plus sign (+) icon, often located in the bottom right corner of the app. This is where you will scan a QR code later.

Step-by-Step: First-Time JumpCloud SSO & MFA Setup

1. Navigate to JumpCloud Login Page:

Open your web browser on a computer and go to: console.jumpcloud.com

2. Enter Your honeygrow Email:

In the email field, enter your assigned honeygrow email address.

3. Enter Your Password:

On the next screen, enter your password. This is the same password you use to log in to your honeygrow email.

4. Initiate MFA Setup:

- If this is your first login or if you haven't set up MFA yet, you will see a prompt to set up Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Select "Authenticator App" as your MFA method.
- Then, select "Set-Up".

5. Prepare for QR Code Scan:

After selecting "Set-Up," you will be taken to a screen preparing for the QR code.
Confirm you have your Google Authenticator app ready on your mobile device.
Select "I have an app."

6. Scan QR Code & Enter Verification Code:

The next window will display a QR Code and a space to enter a 6-digit verification code.
On your Google Authenticator app, tap the plus sign (+) icon and choose "Scan a QR code".
Use your phone's camera to scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen.
The Google Authenticator app will then generate a six-digit code that refreshes periodically.
Quickly enter this 6-digit code into the designated field on your computer screen. (Suggested Image: Screenshot of the QR code and code entry field on the computer.)

7. Complete Setup:

After entering the code, select "Submit" to complete the MFA setup. (Expected: You will be successfully logged into your JumpCloud User Portal.)

Subsequent Logins to JumpCloud

After this initial setup, when you log into console.jumpcloud.com:

Enter your honeygrow email and password as usual.
You will then be prompted to enter the six-digit verification code generated by your Google Authenticator app.
Open the Google Authenticator app on your phone, find the honeygrow entry, and enter the current 6-digit code into the login field.

Accessing Applications via JumpCloud

Once logged into your JumpCloud User Portal:

You will see a page similar to the one below, displaying icons for all your accessible applications (e.g., Yext, Solink, OLO, Certify, SmartSense, etc.).
Simply click on the square icon for the corresponding application, and it will automatically open and log you in.
Direct Site Navigation: If you navigate directly to an application's website (e.g., solink.com), the page will typically redirect you to console.jumpcloud.com first. You will need to complete your JumpCloud login (email, password, and MFA code) before being redirected back to the application's site.
